Welcome Home

In 2007, Cafe Rustica began serving comfort food inspired by European cuisine. Over the ensuing decade it became clear that traditional German food was our customers’ favorite as we gained a reputation for having the best authentic German food in town. We offer a full menu of traditional German food with a variety of schnitzels.

UPDATE: This past Saturday, November 1st 2025 our owner and head chef Sam George suffered a severe hot oil burn to his hand and back. He is receiving excellent care at VCU Med Burn Clinic. He is recovering well. 

As such, we will closed this week November 4th through November 10th. Check for reopening updates on our website, Facebook, Instagram and all other platforms.
